While doing the Mardi Himal Trek we start from Pokhara which is a gateway city for the many treks in the region. Taking a flight or a six hour bus drive from the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. The Mardi Himal trek begins from Kande phedi. The first checkpoint of the
trek is at Deurali or Pothana. A village surrounded with green forests and the experience of Nepalese beauty begins. The estimated time of arrival is around 3:30 hours. Our next destination or point on the trek is the forest camp at Kokar. The lodgings here are more inclined towards homestays rather than hotels and the people here are accommodating .
In the Mardi Himal Trek , there are teahouses for those who don’t want to camp outside where camping outside for a long time may not be feasible for some who have their personal choice of where to stay. After Kokar we move towards Low Camp where we come across foliage of pine trees and the flora and fauna at its natural habitat. Mardi himal trek brings with it amorous views of Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli and Annapurna to the west.Gradually we move forward towards High camp proceeding to Mardi Himal Ridge.

Mardi Mardi Himal Trek Preparation, Guide & Food
Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is graded moderately easy. Food and sleeping arrangements are pretty good in the local tea-houses. No hot water in the mountains though. For that luxury, treat yourself in the Lakeside of Pokhara at the beginning or end of the trek. Take beautiful pictures and leave no trace !
We spend 7-hour via highway or 40-minutes via air to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. Fewa Lake, Tibetian villages in the west, Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Davis Falls and several other beautiful spots are worth visiting once in the valley. You can also drive up Sarangkot Hill for eye-stunning sunrise.

Tour Plan
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) / Transfer to Hotel
From Kathmandu Airport (TIA), our staff will pick you up and arrange your transfer to a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu. Welcome Dinner in the evening. Rest until the next day.
Day 2 Private Drive to Pokhara (850m) [7-Hours]
We will take the Prithvi Highway early in the morning to reach Pokhara.The drive is scenic with views of Trishuli River, rafting & kayaking activities in the Trishuli River, Cable Cars as we drive towards Muglin and head west towards Pokhara.
Enjoy the evening comfortably at the Lakeside or explore the nostalgic town. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 3 Drive to Kande[2-Hours], trek to Pitam Deurali (2100m) [3-Hours]
From Pokhara, we will drive to Kande, which is the starting point of trek. 2-hours of trekking up the local village and lush forest will bring us to Pitam Deurali. It will be a delightful evening with shining stars on a clear night.
Day 4 Trek from Pitam Deurali to Forest Camp (2550 M) [6-Hours]
Trek in similar terrain for around 6 hours to reach Forest Camp. Rhododendrons color the forest before and during spring season. It is equally captivating to trek around mid-February when the snow has just started melting.
Day 5 Forest Camp (2550 M) - Low Camp (2990 M) and continue walking to high camp (3850m) Walking 7-8 Hrs.
Continue among the trail. Mostly uphill. The mountain views already start to appear. Spectacular view of the mountains can be seen. After breakfast, we will continue towards the High Camp for some more mountain watch. Watch beautiful sunset over the west with Mount Machhapuchhre at the north.
Day 6 Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) and return to High Camp (3580m) [6/7-Hours]
We wake up early morning for stunning sunsrise view. Mount Machchapuchhre looks stunningly close with Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna on its left. We will continue our trek towards base Camp of Mardi Himal for an even closer look of the mountains. Later we will return to High Camp.
Day 7 Trek from High Camp to Sidhing (1850m)[6-Hours]
We start downhill trek leaving the mountains behind. Mount Machhapuchhre peaks now and then as we descend into open areas. Today's trek is downhill and we recommend hiking poles to balance the weigh on the knees. At the base is a beautiful village of Sidhing with well facilitated Lodge.
Day 8 Trek to Lumre [3-Hours], drive to Pokhara [40-Minutes]
After breakfast, we will trek south towards the highway. Once there, we will drive back to Pokhara and spend the rest of the evening.
Day 9 Drive back to Kathmandu [7-Hours] in Tourist Bus
On this day, we take a tourist bus journey to go back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you can choose to explore the city on your own, its streets and its culture which provides a unique ambiance.
Day 10 Transfer to Airport / Departure
