Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Tour is the best of three famous spots in Nepal. Kathmandu and Lumbini provides a great insight into the heritage and culture of Nepal whereas Chitwan provides a glimpse of nature and wildlife.
The trips starts with tour to UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu such as Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath temples. Kathmandu is a historically and culturally rich city.
Kathmandu has 7 World Heritage Monuments spread across the valley, and all of them are worth touring. Three Durbar Squares in each district of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan reflect the ancient history of kingship and Newar civilization that paint various cultures and traditions through celebration of festivals and showcase of lifestyle. The temples of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and Changunarayan showcase the deep rooted Hindu and Buddhist culture in the valley.

Chitwan National Park is situated in the southern region of Nepal, protected by Nepal government, and containing rich lush green forest and wildlife. At Chitwan, we stay inside the forest lodge by the banks of Nayarani River. The National Park border is inhabited by local Tharus and the local people organize cultural shows for visitors which is very exciting and participatory. We spend a whole day inside the National Park with activities such as jungle walk, canoe, elephant sanctuary visit and other activities.
Lumbini is the birth place of Gautam Buddha and a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site brings out a sense of peace as we visit the legendary palace ruins, gardens, monasteries and other monuments in the area to commemorate Gautam Buddha and Buddhism.

Tour Plan
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1300m) / hotel transfer
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will meet and greet you right outside the arrival gate. We will arrange your transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day in your room or get out to browse the nearby Thamel market. We will meet up in the evening for welcome dinner and tour briefing.
Day 02: Full day of sightseeing of Kathmandu valley
After breakfast, we will board on a tour around the historically and culturally important monuments in Kathmandu Valley. We will visit Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa during the day. All of these monuments are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening, we will return back to our hotel.and history of Nepal.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Chitwan (6-7 hours)
This day we head to Chitwan and arrange for lodging where we can expect a great welcome from Tharu communities.We will reside at the forest lodge inside Chitwan National Park. In the evening, we will observe the local Tharu dance along with western cuisine and drinks.
Day 04: Full day Chitwan national park exploration
This day we encounter what jungle safari has to offer. We entangle with nature, see the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, tigers and many more what nature has given us. This particular day we can get the pleasure of bird watching also. Chitwan offers the home to different species of birds. So, watching them can be a lot pleasurable.
Day 05: Drive Chitwan to Lumbini (5-6 hours)
Lumbini is the birth place of Gautam Buddha. We depart from Kathmandu to the land of Buddha and Buddhism. We arrange for lodges and stay there in Lumbini. We will explore the monasteries and other significant places in the area.
Day 06: Sightseeing in and around Lumbini
We explore the Buddhism religion and entity. We can learn the way of how Buddhist people try to get enlightened. We can learn the way of Buddhism and Buddha and we ourselves can get in touch with Buddhism. There are several monuments built across the region by historic figures. This includes the old palace ruin, Ashoka Pillar, garden, buddha light and several monasteries that decorate the World Heritage Site premise.
Day 07: Drive from Lumbini to Kathmandu (7-8 hours)
After having breakfast, we depart for Kathmandu. Stroll around tourist hub of Thamel and is the best place for shopping. Browse the market and buy souvenirs for your friends and family. You can also have a dinner and relax in the musical center of Kathmandu full of night life, travelers and variety of restaurants and bars.
