Nepal is known for its natural beauty and richness in culture. This Kathmandu-Pokhara-Chitwan Tour aims to show you both sides of Nepal in the cities of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. Kathmandu is a valley surrounded by vibrant hills and Pokhara is the beautiful lake city with snowcapped mountains view whereas Chitwan is plain with dense forests and rivers. Both Kathmandu and Pokhara are at an altitude of 1400 meters whereas Chitwan goes down to 415 meters. The social life of all these three astonishing cities varies as per the ethnic people living there. Kathmandu is inhabited mostly by Newar, Pokhara by Mongoloids and Chitwan by Tharu. This week-long trip can be your new favorite cherished memory.
Day one of your trip begins as our company’s representative escorts you to your reserved hotel. We spend the second day familiarizing ourselves with the Kathmandu valley. We visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. On our third day, we hit the road to reach Pokhara by the evening and take relaxing walks alongside the Phewa Lake. The fourth day has some adventure. Paragliding being the most attraction of Sarangkot, you get to challenge yourself in this adventure sport. After taking in the gorgeous view, we return back to Pokhara for the night. We head to Chitwan, which is our next destination. We experience the full wildlife of Chitwan and enjoy Tharu culture. Finally, we head back to Kathmandu and explore local streets famous among tourists.

Kathmandu is not only the capital of the country but also a cultural hub. It has UNESCO World Heritages like Pashupatinath (sacred Hindu temple), Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa (the monkey temple) which we will be visiting today.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara will take a little more than 6 hours including short breaks in-between. You can spend free time in the evening taking a walk around the beautiful city of Pokhara. Lakeside view along Phewa Lake is one of the relaxing ways to spend your evening.
It takes us around 30-45 minutes to drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot at an elevation of 1600meters. Panoramic view of Himalayas (mountains) like Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna is stunning by itself, which during the sunrise surely leaves everyone amazed. We begin our five hours long journey from Pokhara to Chitwan early in the morning. We reach our final destination at an altitude of 415meters. You can visit Elephant breeding center in the afternoon. As Chitwan is famous for local Tharu tribe, you can see their culture visiting Tharu museum and enjoy Tharu cultural dance in the evening.
Chitwan National Park has diversified wildlife with 68 different species of mammals and 543 species of all kinds of birds. You can take a Jeep safari or Elephant ride to observe endangered animals like Bengal tiger and rhinoceros. Other animals seen are wild boars, sambar deer, hog deer and chital.
We return back to Kathmandu today via 6/7 hours’ drive. You can take time to explore local streets of Ason and Thamel to buy souvenirs.
