At Chitwan, we stay inside the forest lodge by the banks of Nayarani River. The National Park border is inhabited by local Tharus and the local people organize cultural shows for visitors which is very exciting and participatory. We spend a whole day inside the National Park with activities such as jungle walk, canoe, elephant sanctuary visit and other activities. Lumbini is the birth place of Gautam Buddha and a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site brings out a sense of peace as we visit the legendary palace ruins, gardens, monasteries and other monuments in the area to commemorate Gautam Buddha and Buddhism.
