Chitwan national is the home of 68 different species of mammals together with 543 species of all kinds of birds. Chitwan is home to the local tribe called Tharu. Their culture is another best feature of Chitwan. Tharu culture is famous is its most unique costumes, cuisine, and tradition. We start our Chitwan Jungle Safari trip with 6 to 7 hours long drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. You can rest and enjoy the gorgeous view of dense forest and Trishuli River on our way to Chitwan. We have the second day of full exploration of Chitwan National Park and other nearby attractions. To go into the wild, we can manage Jeep Safari and Elephant ride if you are interested. After early morning bird watching, you return back to Kathmandu via the drive. Best season to enjoy what Chitwan National Park offers is October to March.

This trek is suitable for average people who are moderately fit, thus no previous experience is required. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, hiking is recommended before you embark on your journey. Whilst on the trek, it is common to experience some discomfort before being fully acclimatized.
To prepare for a strenuous trek like this you should begin training at least two to three months before your departure. As a guideline, an hour of aerobic exercise three to four times per week would be considered a minimum requirement. The best preparation is bushwalking involving relatively steep ascents and descents. If you can manage a couple of valley floor to ridgeline ascents per comfortable and able to enjoy the trek to the fullest.
