Chhomolhari Trekking

Chhomolhari trekking is popular trekking trail in Bhutan. Chhomolhari Trekking offers a taste of the great variety of Bhutanese landscapes. Chhomolhari  tour is very little tourist traffic on the pristine trekking routes in Bhutan. This is primarily a positive consequence of the Bhutanese government’s policy limiting tourists to 5000 a year. Bhutan Chhomolhari trek follow the crystal clear trout rich upstream trail of Paro Chu, along the verdant rhododendron canopied forests and salubrious green alpine meadows. Mt. Chhomolhari stands at a magnificent 7,314 m, with age old frontier forts and sprawling yak pastures in its foreground. Bhutan Chhomolhari trekking an exposure of magnificent landscapes, rural community engraved with outstanding culture as well as close view of amazing peaks. The wide variety of vegetation with rare species of animals like blue sheep and others are the chief exposure of the Chomolhari trek

Chhomolhari treks introduce to the splendor of the range of classic Himalayan culture, people and landscape in Bhutan as well as you will see lushness of the foothills with wonderful subtropical, sub alpine and higher altitude alpine landscapes. Walking past old fortresses, villages, monasteries, and terraced fields of paddy and barley is a lesson in the everyday lives of ordinary rural Bhutanese, in all its richness and difficulty. The sky -piercing peaks, thunderous waterfalls, turquoise lakes and streams, rolling meadows filled with wildflowers, remote yak herders villages, and forests of rhododendrons, pine, juniper and fir provide the backdrop for this inspiring and challenging adventure trip in Bhutan.Starting Drugyel Dzong, we pass through scattered hamlets and farmland, into a deep and richly forested valley, which leads to a high alpine pastureland where yak herders graze their animals. Our highest camp, beside a clear lake, beneath the 10,000 ft. high East Face of Chomolhari, is in as magnificent a location as you could ever wish to find. All the trekking in Bhutan should be organized based certified by Tourism Council of Bhutan
