Dhampus trek adds to the majestic of Pokhara as we hike with stunning views of mountains and rich culture of the valley. Pokhara Dhampus Trek (1650M) is a beautiful walk to the north of Pokhara City. This hike offers an eye-catching view of Mt Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and other peaks as we hike from touristic Pokhara towards the Gurung Settlement of Dhampus. Next day, we trek towards Sarangkot Hill and spend another night. Sarangkot Hill offers stunning view of rising and setting sun along with a bird-eye view of the valley underneath. Our trek ends as we drive back to Pokhara.
This trail takes hikers through the village of culturally rich Gurungs, their daily lifestyle and traditions. Native Gurungs are farmers and animal herders. We also pass through the dense rhododendron forests, terraced farmlands, and various flora and fauna. Pokhara Dhampus trek is full of stunning mountain views – Mount Machhapuchhre (6,991m) also known as Fish Tail, Hiunchuli (6,441m), Lamjung Himal (6,993m), Ganesh Himal (7,446m) and Annapurna Range from Dhampus Hill for Sunrise and Sunset are fascinating.

Day 1 Trek from Pokhara to Dhampus (1650m) via Australian Base Camp (2000m) [3-Hours]
Our trip starts from Pokhara, where we will arrange for your pick up and drop off. A 3 hour trek towards the beautiful Dhampus Village will bring us to observe the lifestyle and culture of local Gurung inhabitants. Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Mountain Ranges will turn the day into a wonderful delight . Overnight in one of the local inns in the village.

Day 2 Trek from Dhampus to Sarangkot (1592m) [5-Hour]
Our trip starts from Pokhara, where we will arrange for your pick up and drop off. A 3 hour trek towards the beautiful Dhampus Village will bring us to observe the lifestyle and culture of local Gurung inhabitants. Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Mountain Ranges will turn the day into a wonderful delight . Overnight in one of the local inns in the village.

Day 3 Sarangkot Sunrise View / Hike to Lakeside Pokhara [2-Hour]
We will enjoy magnificent sunrise view from Sarangkot hill, as the morning sun lights up the shadows of the valley down below us. It's a good idea to have a camera. Later, we will start a 2 hour hike towards the central town of Pokhara. We can also arrange a hotel drop off if you require it later.
